TacOps
TacOps focuses on more the gritty edge of MilSim.
These events are designed for players that value a more down to earth military simulation experience where real world drills and tactics are the emphasis of the game.
Players will be expected to carry all their kit on them and to live out of their bergans for the entire operation.
These events are "hardroutine", and if you are the sort of player that prefers creature comforts, frequent contacts and fast pace action then TacOps is not for you.
However, if you prefer detailed mission planning, long range patrolling and scenarios that will test your fieldcraft skills and battle drills then look no further, because TacOps is just what you are looking for.
But more importantly, TacOps is accessible to all that are willing to try.
TacOps Features
Objectives which are decisive and conclusive to a single result, which can then follow a pre-structured event branch. TacOp games are feature packed with sub-missions that branch out to other sub-missions throughout the weekend, which in turn create an immersive soldiering experience.
Realistic command structure using Company, Platoon and Section commanders.
Realistic simulation of Fire Support, including extended ranges, timings and shell effects. In the past, the use of Fire Support as led to a great many players returning to REGEN. We recognise this issue and we believe the purpose of Fire Support should be used to displace the enemy and consequently creating an opportunity to advance and take ground or seize an objective.
Advance medic rules for all players (even more advanced then BattleSim). These rules will work the same as for BattleSim games but the damage from hits will be more realistic, leading to less chance of survivial from battle wounds.
