Directions and Site Entrance
You will find a map on the About Page on the ta-events.co.uk/last-strike website. This is a google based map so if you right click on the map you will see options to view directions to and from the site.
The entrance to the site is the "East Gate". It is the first entrance to the site if you are travelling along the A48 heading towards Caerwent.
You will be required to sign in at the gate and it is there you will need to pay your remaining balance of £30.00 per ticket.
The gate will open at approximately 1700 on the Friday, 12th October. It will be locked again at midnight and re-opened at 0700 Saturday morning.
All players should arrive no later than 1000 on the Saturday, 13th October.
Please bring along you player id and your paypal payment transaction code to make it easier for us to process your sign-in.
There is a 10mph speed limit on the track leading to the East Gate. THIS LIMIT MUST NOT BE BROKEN.

Sleeping Arrangements
The main parking area is a large field behind the admin buildings. This field can be used for camping for those that want to bring tents.
There will also be buildings available for those that wish to sleep in the buildings. Please note that these buildings are similiar to the conditions found at Copehill. They are empty concrete buildings with no lighting or heating.
Food and Water
There is no running water at Caerwent so please ensure you bring adequate water supplies. I would recommend at least 5 litres per person.
Although there will be a burger van on site I would also strongly recommend you bring snacks at the very least to ensure you have something to snack on during the day.
BB's
There seems to be some confusion over the use of bio-degradable BB's.
You CAN use standard Excel and Marui BB's on this site. You do not have to use the true bio-degradable BB's (the ones that cost an absolute fortune).
Kit
Prepare for a 24 hour stay in Wales during mid october. Warm clothing, spare clothing. Pack your kit bearing in mind that you will need to be pretty much self sufficient during the course of the entire weekend.
Bring adequate water, a flash light, suitable clothing (and spares) along with suitable footwear for grassy, but open (at times rugged) terrain.
No Alcohol
In accordance with the training areas standing orders, no alcohol can be brought in or consumed within the training area.
Player List
I have now published a list of all players attending Last Strike. The list is broken down in to Coalition and Rebel forces and the names are in alphabetical order. I have also placed an payment indicator next to each player.Click here to view the player list.
Severn Bridge Toll
For those that will have to cross the Severn bridge then please be aware that you have to pay a toll when crossing towards Wales but not when returning. The cost of a car is £5.10. Other vehicles costs can be found on the Severn Bridge website.Tactical Shooting Competition
Firesupport will be holding a tactical shooting event on Friday night in one of the buildings on site.
It will be a timed course shooting figure 11/12 targets in the dark, pistols only.
Torches will be an advantage, the course will be lit with glow stocks and most targets illuminated.
Each target must be hit twice and a mag change must be made after the 1st target and before the last or face a time penalty.
The fastest mover does not always have the quickest time.
Leaving an item behind causes a time penalty and also not shooting from the marked square does as well.
Firesupport marshals follow each contentant around the course to time them and make sure all targets and rules are obeyed.
It will cost £5 and you can only have 1 go each.
The exact timings and location will be advertised on Friday when we have abetter idea of shich building to us.
We have been running this style of shootintg monthly at Urban Assault so have a good idea now how to make it work.
There will be good prizes for the 1st and 2nd quickest times.
