Hi Wormbite
Sadly the Madhatters will be missing Phoenix 3 this year.
Befor Sennybridge was confirmed there was talk of possibly holding the event at Copehill Down.
Obviously this is no longer the case but I was just wondering if you have any plans to hold any event at this location this year?
Any info always welcome.
Cheers
All the best for Phoenix 3

I am trying for CDV but it is a very difficult one to pin down.
Stirling have a provisional date booked but its too early in the year for their date to be confirmed. The only reason they are posting the date is because that weekend is normally reserved for maintenance work on the site and so its one of the safest weekends of the year. But even that is not safe as proven last year.
The other problem is that CDV see's any form of military training as a higher priority than civilian 3rd party usage of the site. Plus its the premier FIBUA site in the western Europe and not only used by British forces but other armies within Europe as well.
All these factors make it extremely difficult to find an open weekend date. And even if one gets a date, managing to then keep that date is another matter.
For an airsoft organiser with serious financial risks associated with such large events then this can be one risk too many.
But CDV is not ruled out and when the situation allows then I shall return there once more.
